Description

Beautiful Lake Vermilion is known as “Lake of the Sunset Glow” and is obviously famous for its amazingly red sunsets and the fishing for walleye and muskie. However, this gem of a lake is set amongst some of Minnesota’s most beautiful wilderness, most notably the Superior National Forest and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. With over 1,200 miles of shoreline, 40,000 acres of water and 365 islands, it’s fair to say that plenty of diversity exists here. One would be hard pressed to not find something that peaks their interests here.
