Together "Twin Cities" Minneapolis and state capital, St. Paul, paint a very urban picture that lacks not for cultural color nor pleasant parks with proximity to river, wilderness and Amish country for extra polish.
For more than a hundred years, the Schubert Club has been promoting classical recital music with performances in the Twin Cities. Its Museum of Musical Instruments displays instruments from its historical keyboard collection that spans 450 years. Other exhibits include musical instruments from around the world and musical manuscripts. Free admission. Tours for groups (max. 30 people) should be arranged in advance.
