Stearns History Museum and Research Center is one of Minnesota's finest museums with two floors of exhibits, family genealogy center, hands-on children's gallery, gallery theater, and Museum Store. The Museum is located in a 100-acre nature park with walking trails that's close to restaurants and shopping. There are always changing exhibits from local artists to small town history. The Story of Samuel Pandolfo, the Pan Motor Company and Pandolfo's brushes with the law are sure to intrigue visitors. A walk through the woods and prairie of the 1850s will give you a glimpse of native wildlife. And you'll be sure to smile when you check out the new ARTIFIND exhibit – a children's exhibit for the young and old that has you finish a rhyme to guarantee a splendid good time. Whether it's viewing four new videos in the Pantown Granite Theater or discovering how granite is quarried, there is always something to see and do at the Stearns History Museum. The family genealogy center specializes in information from Luxembourg and Germany as well as granite, dairy, sports, and architecture.The Stearns History Museum is located in a 100-acre park just minutes from I-94 and only 60 miles north of the Twin Cities. It's within blocks of restaurants and Crossroads Shopping Mall. And a few miles from Munsinger - Clemens Gardens, Quarry Park, St. John's Abbey, and the St. Benedict's Monastery Haehn Museum.
