Together "Twin Cities" Minneapolis and state capital, St. Paul, paint a very urban picture that lacks not for cultural color nor pleasant parks with proximity to river, wilderness and Amish country for extra polish.
The Weavers Guild of Minnesota has been dedicated to the education and promotion of fiber arts for more than 60 years. Founded in 1940 with a membership of 26, the Guild has experienced both growth and decline but has continually provided the community with classes and workshops to promote interest and expertise in fiber arts. Over the years the Guild has taught classes in numerous fiber arts topics; however, its mainstay is classes in weaving, spinning, and dyeing.
