Together "Twin Cities" Minneapolis and state capital, St. Paul, paint a very urban picture that lacks not for cultural color nor pleasant parks with proximity to river, wilderness and Amish country for extra polish.
The Longfellow House, built in 1906 for Robert F. (Fish) Jones, is a 2/3 scale replica of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's home in Cambridge, MA. The house has served a wide range of functions including a zoo, a library, a haunted house and is currently an interpretive and information center for the Minneapolis Park System.
