There's never a dull moment in Lake Superior city, Duluth, a bustling international harbor hub that also happens to be home to a variety of cultural sights and sports easy access to water or snow-based pursuits.
The park is named for Henry Rowe Schoolcraft who, guided by the Anishinabe, camped in the immediate area during his quest for the source of the Mississippi River. The Mississippi River is a little wider but quieter here as it flows through the park than the busy Headwaters. Hikers, campers and canoeist enjoy a nice view of the river from the park. Staffed by nearby Hill Annex Mine State Park.
