Together "Twin Cities" Minneapolis and state capital, St. Paul, paint a very urban picture that lacks not for cultural color nor pleasant parks with proximity to river, wilderness and Amish country for extra polish.
Located in RJD Memorial Hardwood Forest, the Zumbro Bottoms Management Unit has 3 campgrounds; Central, North, and West, managed by Frontenac State Park. The 71 horse campsites are considered "primitive," designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper. The campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and table. A vault toilet, a hand-pumped well, picket lines, tie rails, and manure disposal are also available. The campground allows for portable corrals.
We offer a compact version of Go-Minnesota for mobile users, allowing you to access just the information you need on the road. Of course, you can still use the full version of Go-Minnesota on your mobile device just as you can on your desktop.
