County Nature Center and Zoo featuring native Minnesota wildlife and displays concerning environmental topics; a 30 site campground – 15 electric sites and 15 non-electric sites, flush toilets showers, and on-line reservations. Environmental education classes offered for schools and weekend programs for all ages. Over 8 miles of well-maintained trails available for hiking, difficulty of trails varies. Snow-shoes and cross country skis available to rent in the winter.

Zoo is closed New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. A motorized track chair is available to persons with mobility issues at no charge. Wagons for children and wheelchairs for adults available at no charge as well.
