Description

The American Swedish Institute is a vibrant museum and cultural center offering tours of the landmark 1908 Turnblad Mansion (Minneapolis' only castle), special exhibits, family activities and events connected to contemporary Nordic culture and heritage. The Museum Shop offers unique books and gifts inspired by new Nordic design. The new Nelson Cultural Center, opened in 2012, hosts modern art exhibits and the nationally acclaimed cafe, FIKA.
