Description

CANOE TRIPS:

Canoe Country Outfitters is conveniently located in downtown Ely Minnesota, gateway to the BWCA/Quetico wilderness. As a full-service outfitter we provide choice of complete or partial ultra light outfitting, lodging before and after trip, van shuttles, and free mapping & orientation services. Canoe rental brands include kevlar models by Wenonah, Souris River & Bell. Aluminum canoes by Grumman and Alumacraft.
The Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA), along with Canada's Quetico Park just to the north, encompass over two million acres. This vast wilderness lake region is void of roads, resorts and private cabins. Don't hesitate to contact us if help is needed in choosing a canoeing route or entry point location. A camping permit is required and we'll certainly arrange that in your behalf.
Canoe Country Outfitters is now in its 3rd generation of Olson Family management so be assured that we have the experience and knowledge that's necessary to provide a safe, exciting and memorable trip!

CABINS & CAMPGROUND:

In addition to canoe trip rentals and services we also rent housekeeping cabins on Moose Lake and operate an RV/tent campground. The cabins are air conditioned and range in size from 2-5 bedrooms. The campground RV sites have full hook-ups.
