See early mine trucks, climb into the cab of a 1907 steam locomotive and a 1910 steam shovel or walk down into a simulated underground mine drift. Several buildings hold old fire trucks and bus, displays of early mining town life: schoolroom, broom factory, shoemaker's shop, print shop, mining office. WPA-era stone castle, wall & amphitheater.
