Watery wilderness and paddlers' paradise, Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness is best known for its long-distance water trails, though there is also a selection of land routes on hand for aspiring hikers.
Interpretive trails, sandy beaches, a paved biking trail, boat ramps, a picnic shelter and the Norway Beach Visitor Center are all nestled among red pines. There are firewood and recycling centers located at each campground as well as an RV dump station. There are electrical sites in the Chippewa Loop. The Norway Beach and Chippewa campgrounds have reservable sites.
