Peterson's RV Campground is located next to the Root River Bike Trail and just a few blocks from the Root River. Each of the 9 sites has full electric (50amp), water and sewer hookups, picnic table & fire ring. You and your children will enjoy the large park and playground. Rent the picnic pavilion and/or the lighted softball field for large gatherings.

Wake up to the sounds of birds and wildlife! Then walk to breakfast at Burdey's Cafe with a delightful menu and prices. Relax in our peaceful town or plan an active day!

Rent canoes, kayaks, or tubes and let the outfitters bus you to your preferred drop off. Return to the Peterson Landing and walk or drive back to the campground.

Bike the trail toward Houston and visit Alice the Owl at the Houston Nature Center. The section of the trail from Rushford to Houston can be challenging with breathtaking scenery.

Follow the trail to Rushford and walk to the top of Maglessen Bluff.

For your convenience, a grocery store, hardware, drug store, and convenience store are less than 5 miles away. Don't forget to visit the Peterson State Fish Hatchery, our Peterson Station Museum, and then try your hand at trout fishing in our nearby designated trout streams!
