Description
The Rock County Historical Museum houses artifacts dating from the 1870s when Luverne, the county seat, developed into an agri-business center. Displays of: Tri-State Band Festival memorabilia, old postcards & newspapers, graduation pictures from county schools, Iraq War 2003-08, county maps/furnishings, Rock Co Towns, military uniforms from Civil War to Vietnam along with related war memorabilia, and a gun collection. There is a obituary collection file starting from the late 1870's.
