There's never a dull moment in Lake Superior city, Duluth, a bustling international harbor hub that also happens to be home to a variety of cultural sights and sports easy access to water or snow-based pursuits.
The park is named for Henry Schoolcraft who guided by the Anishinabe, found the source of the Mississippi at Lake Itasca. The Mississippi River is a little wider as it flows through the park, but this is a much quieter spot than the busy Headwaters. Canoeists and hikers enjoy a nice view of the river from the park. Staffed by nearby Hill Annex Mine State Park.
