We are a family owned restaurant, serving year round breakfast, lunch, dinner, and, of course, pies! Our menu reflects the vividly changing seasons, the rich culinary traditions that exist here, as well as spotlighting the vast array of local foods available. As you will see, maple syrup, wild rice, berries, honey and fresh fish are plentifully represented.
The Pie Place Cafe is located at The Harbor Inn motel, downtown on the harbor in Grand Marais, only a short ride from Lutsen mountain and ski resort, and Minnesota's Boundary Waters and canoe area.
The restaurant atmosphere is informal and cozy, the interior taking inspiration from the natural surroundings. The phenomenal view from the expansive windows lets you take in the beauty of the harbor, with its lighthouse. In the summer, you may even enjoy a nice weather at some of our sidewalk tables.
